A Message from Our Founder

My name is Tracy Dumas, and I founded R. Family Care Services with one simple belief at the core of everything I do: everyone deserves to be seen, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.

My passion for this work is deeply personal. I was once considered at-risk myself, and I know firsthand how life can change when someone believes in you—especially during moments when you struggle to believe in yourself. That experience shaped who I am today and fuels my commitment to serving individuals and families who are often overlooked due to circumstance, trauma, or systemic barriers.

Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked in business, education, social and community services, and youth advocacy. Through every role, one thing has remained constant—my desire to help people build stability, confidence, and a better future for themselves and their families. R. Family Care Services was created to be a place where compassion meets action and where care is delivered with dignity, respect, and cultural understanding.

We are more than a service provider. We are partners in care. Whether we are supporting individuals with disabilities, empowering parents, guiding families through complex systems, or giving caregivers the respite they need, our goal is always the same—to create safe, supportive environments where growth and independence are possible.
